Project 1: Art Museum

The inspiration behind the form of the building was derived from the building next to it, the new National Gallery by  Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Interestingly, all organic forms proposed were put down immediately, and most of the students' final designs were either rectangular or square. This may have to do with the anatomy of German buildings.
